We Believe...

...that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, which is supernaturally inspired so that it is without error in the original manuscripts. It has been preserved by God and is the divinely established authority and standard for doctrine and practice.

...that God exists eternally in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God. We believe that God is the creator of the universe and that by His sovereign choice and out of love for men, He sent Christ into the world to die for the sins of the world.

...that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man, that He was born of a virgin, that He lived a sinless life, and that He taught and lived precisely as revealed in the four Gospels of the New Testament.

...that He was crucified and died as a penalty for our sin and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. He later ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers. We believe He will one day descend from heaven and come again to earth bodily to establish His millennial kingdom.

...that by His death, Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin. His death provided a way for all men to be saved from eternal death and separation from God. We believe that in order to be saved, one must trust Christ in His sacrifice for our sin. Salvation is received by faith in Christ alone and is received entirely apart from works.

...that a believer is eternally secure –but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of the heavenly Father. We believe that it is the goal of every believer to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and yielding to the Holy Spirit who lives within him.

...that the Holy Spirit is a person and that He is God, possessing all of the divine attributes. He indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation and fills them in response to confession of sin and submission.
